biography
dr. zhi-jie wang received the ph.d in computer science from shanghai jiao tong university, shanghai, china, and did a postdoc at the department of computing, the hong kong polytechnic university, kowloon, hong kong. he is currently an associate professor and a phd supervisor at the college of computer science, chongqing university (cqu), chongqing, china. before joining cqu, he worked at the school of data and computer science, sun yat-sen university (sysu), guangzhou, china. he is/was a committee member of ccf yocsef guangzhou, a committee member of guangdong big data professional committee, a communication committee member of ccf task force on big data, and a communication committee member of ccf technical committee of database. he is a member of ccf, ieee, and acm.

his main research interests include, but not limited to, artificial intelligence, data mining, big data, machine learning.
